Deep Thought #1

Have you meditated upon God’s word today? God’s word is God’s will. If you want to know what God has planned for you, read and meditate upon His word daily.

John 15 Jesus said, “Abide in Me and let My word abide in you...then you shall know the truth and truth shall set you free.”

Do you know that when God is getting ready to bless you with money, He first tests your heart by creating an opportunity such as sending you a friend or stranger in need, to ask you for money? It may be buying the person lunch or giving your last $20 to the person or paying the balance of their insufficient grocery bill. Jesus said, “Where your treasure (wealth, money) is, there is your heart also.”

Obedience brings blessing, disobedience brings curses. Simple as that. God wants to bless us because He loves and cares about us. It is up to us whether we recognize His blessing.
