Before we call someone or talk to someone about our problem, ask God, “Whom can I trust to share this with?” Why? Because only God knows everyone’s heart. How many times have we gotten ourselves in unnecessary trouble because of gossip? The devil often uses the one we thought we could trust the most to betray us. Jesus told us to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. Don’t wear your heart on the sleeve; you only set yourself up to be hurt.
