Deep Thought #568

Have you ever been a victim of false accusation and mistreatment or even worse, you were repaid with evil for your love? Naturally, when we faced injustice like this, we fret and wish the perpetrator would just fall over dead.

Psalm 37:7 teaches us otherwise: “Be still (be silent) in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.”

Friend, the best way to see justice served is to take care of yourself so that you can outlive your accuser and see how the wicked end.
